What: customized logistics application
Delivered: Custom GIS enabled application written in CakePHP
A regional logistics company needed to get their available data off of sticky notes and onto a common application where data can be shared and entered by all.
A custom application was written in CakePHP against a PostgreSQL database with PostGIS enabled. This application was is called "Leader" and it enables users to take calls from customers concerning shipments and find the nearest available shipper to their location. This allowed the customer much better tracking and more efficient sharing of data between employees.
